Course description:
This program will serve the needs of managers of the healthcare sector who could be business managers or doctors and nurses involved in the management of their organization, as well as non-healthcare professionals wanting to enter the healthcare industry. This course is for mid-level management professionals from any background in the health sector or graduates in fields such as medicine, nursing, allied health and science who are experienced managers of clinical or other health services. The course develops the skills of middle-level managers, equipping them to move to more senior positions and for professionals who want a change of career into the thriving health sector.
Entry requirements:
Students must have a bachelor's degree preferably in the health field and at least four years of relevant postgraduate work experience. Candidacy will be approved by the Board of Faculty. The Board may, under certain circumstances and subject to specific conditions, accept candidates without such qualifications if they can show satisfactory evidence of fitness for candidature.
