Venue Description:
The MDIS School of Media and Communications is a pioneer in this field. It was one of the first schools to offer mass communications degree programmes and the first institution in Singapore to offer mass communications programmes from an American university, the Oklahoma City University (OCU). All programmes offered are industry-focused, relevant and of high quality standard. MDIS has its very own fully-equipped mass communications studio, the first PEO to have such facilities for practical training. Students will learn the ropes of film and television production, exposing them to a wide spectrum of roles such as producers and directors. Students from the school are also very active in the area of internship attachments and are well received by media and communication companies. In addition, the students also assist in the institute’s marketing activities. These practical aspects ensure that our graduates are well-prepared for the ‘real world’ environment.
