Course description:
This concentration provides students with a solid grounding in economic theory, as well as the analytical and statistical tools needed to conduct high-quality theoretical and empirical research. It is conducted jointly with the University of Cergy-Pontoise (Paris), one of the leading French universities in Economics and Finance. Students in this programme may specialize in three main areas: Industrial Organization, International Economics (with micro or macro emphasis), and Public Economics.
Entry requirements:
Applicants must hold degrees equivalent to a master’s degree in engineering, degrees from business schools, degrees in medicine, pharmacy, veterinary science, law, architecture; or a bachelor's degree with three years of professional experience. Other applicants with unusual backgrounds or quality career paths will also be examined as special cases. Selection is based on an exceptional academic record and/or professional career, high potential and strong motivation to pursue the selected programme. They should have Management Aptitude Test scores (GMAT or TAGE-MAGE) and English Test scores (TOEFL or TOEIC or IELTS).

Applicant must submit the completed application form online or paper application. Along with the application form they must submit the following documents: two letters of recommendation; all official transcripts of grades obtained at each of the colleges or universities attended; copies of all degrees or diplomas, or certificate of enrolment for current studies; a copy of national identity card or passport or a birth certificate (translated into French or into English); and two recent identity photographs of good quality. They also submit copies of Management Aptitude Test scores (GMAT or TAGE-MAGE) and English Test scores (TOEFL or TOEIC or IELTS).
