Course description:
This program combines core modules in Computing with specialized modules in business and management. The areas covered include finance and accounting, business, economics, marketing, business information systems and international business. The program helps the participants' to develop analytical and personal skills necessary to work in a specialized computing and management environment.
Entry requirements:
Interested applicants must possess full GCE ‘A’ levels (2 ‘A’ and 2 ‘AO’ passes) or Diploma awarded by MDIS or other recognized local/overseas Polytechnics or Professional Institutes
or Computing Diplomas from recognized institutes (NCC, HND, BTEC, etc).

Students must submit a completed application form that can be obtained from MDIS website or at any of the centers along with the non refundable registration fee. In addition they should also submit certified-true copies of all education certificates and transcripts. The School of Technology and E-Learning (STEL) is one of the academic schools in MDIS and is tasked to focus on both the academic and professional educational development of modern Information Technology (IT) professionals. Established in 2002, the School aims to help students in Singapore and throughout the region gain a foothold in the IT industry by providing a comprehensive suite of programmes that focus on a broad-based, holistic education that is technology-driven. All programmes delivered through STEL are from well-accredited and renowned universities. The School works closely with employers and universities to ensure its programmes are relevant, rigorous and of a high quality. The curricula are regularly reviewed and updated to keep pace with current developments in the IT field; thereby ensuring that students are learning the latest syllabuses, topics and technologies. Students are also taught by lecturers who have more than 10 years of corporate and training experience with proven track record in passing rates.

International students should make the accommodation arrangement before they leave the homeland. There is a wide variety of accommodation options in Singapore and the type of accommodation you choose will depend on your personal budget. International students can approach MDIS for assistance on the accommodation arrangement. The Institute plan to develop the hostel within the premises and this project is part of the overall development plan to create a self-contained integrated campus for the international students. The new hostel will have 782 rooms and up to 14 suites, a 495-seat lecture theatre and an 11-stall cafeteria with a seating capacity of up to 600. The integrated hostel will be ready by 2010.
